Finger Lakes Advance Manufacturers’ Enterprise (FAME)
FAME is an initiative of the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board and a collaborative public/private partnership of regional stakeholders that are dedicated to investments in human capital. FAME works with dedicated professionals who specialize in workforce development, and understand what it takes to attract and grow the workforce talent in advanced manufacturing. The end product of this investment is a bright, motivated, informed, skilled workforce that contributes to your company’s success.
Ontario County Department of Workforce Development
The Ontario County Department of Workforce Development provides services for both job seekers and employers, as well as youth programs. Services for employers include job listing and employee recruitment, screening and training, while job seekers can access the job listing service and resource room, and take workshops on resume preparation and other development skills.
Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board
The mission of the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board (FLWIB) is to improve the economic well-being of job seekers and employers in the region by aligning human potential with opportunities in the workplace. Made up of members from both the private and public sectors of Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties in New York State, the board is the decision-making entity responsible for overseeing the local workforce system.
