Safety is Everyone's Business


The Ontario County Safety and Health Program directs the establishment, administration, and enforcement of safety and health practices for all employees within the various departments and municipalities of Ontario County.

While it is the responsibility of the safety coordinators and the supervisors to document safety issues, educate, and take action, we depend on the employees to recognize and report unsafe conditions. The employees have the greatest effect on the success of the program and employees benefit the most from a safe work environment.
