Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP)
The Office for the Aging provides health insurance counseling for people older than 60. Training is available so that you can provide unbiased information on:- Claim filing
- EPIC
- Medicare Advantage Plan
Home Delivered Meals Volunteers
What does being a Home Delivered Meals volunteer require and entail?- Twenty eight hot meal routes
- Pickup and delivery times fluctuate between 11 am and 1 pm (Clifton Springs Route 4pm to 5pm)
- Pick up sites depend on the route
- Mileage reimbursement provided upon request
- Training provided including the AAA Driver Improvement Course
- Hot Meal available for volunteers
- Valid drivers license and current insurance required
- Volunteers deliver one day a week or as much or as little as desired
- Substitute volunteers always needed
