County Parks

Within Ontario County, there are 8 unique County-owned parks which provide recreational opportunities to the public.  County DPW operates the Gannett Hill Park which is the only park in the Finger Lakes that offers camping, mountain bike trails and rentable lodges/pavilions at once location.  Improvements to the park are continuously being made including the installation of additional cabins for the 2024 season.  The park has its own caretaker who is stationed on-site.  Grimes Glen Park is a natural recreation area in Naples which offers hikers the opportunity to visit 3 water falls.  Deep Run Park - on the East side of Canandaigua Lake - is the County's only park with a beach and offers swimming under the safety of on-duty lifeguards.  For additional information and maps, please go to the 'County Parks' webpage where you can view individual pages for each park.
