[ARCHIVED] Got Pills?

Medicine cabinet

The Partnership for Ontario County and its sponsors are holding a medication drop off event at Tops Market - 381 Hamilton Street, Geneva - on Saturday, September 26 from 9 am - noon. Volunteers will collect your medications through your car window as you drive through, no questions asked.

Clean out your medicine cabinet and bring your old and expired medications for disposal. By getting them out of your home you decrease the likelihood that they will end up in the wrong hands. By using an official drop-off site, you keep them out of our landfills and sewers.

Unable to get to Geneva on the 26th? Drop meds in the secure drop box at the NY State Troopers, Troop E Barracks - 1569 Rochester Road (Rt. 332), Canandaigua - anytime.

Items accepted at the Barracks: Prescription medications, medicated ointments, over-the-counter medications, and inhalers. Hazardous materials and needles are not accepted. Pharmacies and medical providers are not allowed to drop at this site.
