immunization

In New York, proof of meningococcal vaccination will be required for seventh and twelfth graders starting September 2016.

Seventh graders will need evidence of one dose of MenACWY prior to starting school September 2016.

Twelfth graders will need evidence of a dose of MenACWY on or after the 16th birthday.
Note: This could be the child’s first dose or could be a booster dose if the child was previously vaccinated. A second dose is not necessary for adolescents who receive the first dose at 16 years or older.
