The harvester is working on the second seasonal cut in areas around the lake with dense vegetation at or near the surface. The team will work an extra day on Friday, 9/2 to pick up fragments accumulated on shore before the holiday weekend. Residents can call 396-4458 to request harvesting or shoreline service. Calls any time before 11 a.m. on Friday, 9/2 are requested so that operations can be planned efficiently.
Areas harvested this week include Dana Shores, Laura Lane, and Burns Point north to Honeoye Park on the east side of the lake, as well as the north side of California Ranch Point and Bartholomew Drive to Southwest Shores on the west side.
