[ARCHIVED] Ontario County Jail to Begin Non-Contact Jail Visits

Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson has authorized non-contact jail visits beginning July 25th. Sheriff Henderson states that it is important for the inmates to have an opportunity to visit with a loved one, family member or significant other. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in early March, Sheriff Henderson had closed jail visitations in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the jail. A plan has been developed in order to have non-contact visitations.

All visitors will be required to:

Complete a COVID screening prior to entering the facility

Be spaced 6’ apart

Wear a mask at all times

Visits will be by non-contact only

For further information, and those wishing to visit an inmate please call.
