Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson has authorized non-contact jail visits beginning July 25th. Sheriff Henderson states that it is important for the inmates to have an opportunity to visit with a loved one, family member or significant other. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in early March, Sheriff Henderson had closed jail visitations in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the jail. A plan has now been developed in order to have non-contact visitations.
All visitors will be required to:
- Complete a COVID screening prior to entering the facility
- Be spaced 6’ apart
- Wear a mask at all times
Visits will be by non-contact only.
