November 1 - 30, 2022
Ontario County farmland owners may request that their land be added to a New York State Agricultural District between November 1 - 30, 2022. State law requires that farmland owners be given a 30-day period every year during which they can request their land be added. The New York State Agricultural District Program is a voluntary program that provides farmland owners and farmers certain advantages and protections if the land stays in the Agricultural District.

The Board of Supervisors then reviews and approves the list of properties for submission to the Commissioner of New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets for final approval.
