April 20-27 is National Infant Immunization Week. This week highlights how important it is to protect babies from diseases that can be prevented by vaccination. It is also a time to celebrate those who work tirelessly to promote healthy communities by providing vaccinations to infants. Since 1994, NIIW has served as a call to action for parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure that infants are fully immunized against 14 vaccine-preventable diseases.
